After 12 years, Camp Springs had its first home game

The only thing I can say is, WOW!!  I would have never expected for the T-Ball Tigers to get off to such a strong start to the season.  After 12 years, Camp Springs had its first home game with a resounding victory over Fort Washington Canons, 19-11.  Thank you, Coach Ryan for figuring out a way to keep the score respectable.  I think we could have scored 30 runs, but because of Coach Ryan's suggestion to stop the runners at each base we kept the score down to a respectable range.  (Good Sportsmanship)

Special thanks to Chenelle Miles for stepping up to be the umpire for the game, since our normal umpire wasn't available.

I recall looking around and seeing so many cars that they had to park on the side of Temple Hills Rd!  We even had people that were walking the Henson Creek Trail stopped and watch our kids play T-ball.  Also, how about those summer "gold" Camp Springs Baseball T-Shirts?!?! Donna Howard mentioned how she saw them as she turned into the parking lot to the field and great they look!

Kevin & Marie, that was an incredible spread you guys put together.  That was really one of the most well organized and tasteful cook-out meals I've had in a long time.  Thank you to all the parents with helping keep the park clean after a game.
